Privacy Policy

Sport Screen ([Company Legal Name], [Registered Address, Country], “we”, “us”) provides a live match-display and scoreboard platform for sports clubs (“Service”). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

• Account data — name, email address and authentication identifiers, handled by our identity provider (Clerk). We never see or store your password.
• Club & match data — club name and branding, team rosters (player names, jersey numbers), match scores and events, sponsor content you upload.
• AI Studio content — player photos and short video clips you voluntarily upload to generate AI player-introduction clips.
• Billing data — your subscription tier, billing email, and Stripe customer/subscription IDs. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Preference data — language and display-currency choice, stored in cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
• Usage data — aggregated, cookie-free page-view analytics (Vercel Web Analytics). This cannot identify you individually.

• To operate and provide the Service you signed up for (contract necessity).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions (contract necessity).
• To secure accounts and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• To understand aggregate product usage and improve the Service (legitimate interest).
• To communicate service-related notices (contract necessity).

We use the following sub-processors to run the Service. Each processes data only on our instructions and under its own data-processing terms:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Neon — primary database hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting, file storage, and cookie-free analytics.
• fal.ai — AI image/video generation for the AI Studio player-introduction feature (only for clubs that use this feature).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Some sub-processors listed above may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are covered by that provider’s own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). [Confirm a Data Processing Agreement is in place with each sub-processor above before relying on this statement.]

We retain account, club, and match data for as long as your subscription is active, and for [retention period to be confirmed] afterwards to allow reactivation, before deletion or anonymization. Billing records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We don’t yet offer a self-service export/delete tool — to exercise any of these rights today, email privacy@sport-screen.com and we will action the request manually.

Team rosters uploaded to the Service may include the names of minors (e.g. youth players). The club that uploads this data acts as the data controller for its own players and is responsible for having a lawful basis (including any required parental consent) for providing that data to us. We act as a data processor for that data on the club’s behalf.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect the data in our care. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable any available account-security features.

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We’ll update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we’ll notify account owners by email.
